Drills to do at Home Without a Basketball

On a flat space, come to a complete jump stop and pretend that you have the ball "cocked" or in the triple threat position. Practice using a pivot foot, be sure to get onto your toes and spin around. Move your body high and low. It is also a good warm-up exercise.

Part two;

On a flat space, come to a complete jump stop then step through with the non-pivot foot. You can lift the pivot foot, but you are now committed. Make sure you pretend (get it in your mind) to shoot or pass before your pivot foot touches the ground again or you will be guilty of traveling!
